Artemis Preschool

Preschool Education Center

WELCOME

From the beginning

Artemis Preschool is a school for little people from 8 months to 5 years. Our main goal is for children to enjoy the world around them every day as they actively intervene in its reconstruction.
We harness natural curiosity about the environment. We strengthen the mood for exploration by providing the appropriate stimuli which are transformed into experiences!

OUR PHILOSOPHY

The child is active in learning, learns in groups and needs play and action that allows him to explore. We are guides, coordinators and organizers in this discovery through knowledge and invention.

We choose the child-centered orientation and adopt the opinion that the purpose of every education program should be the all-round, harmonious and balanced development of children's intellectual and psychosomatic powers.

03

Conclude

We have strict standards when it comes to what we produce and never compromise on quality. This is especially true when it comes to the first-rate materials we use. Our customers deserve the highest level of products on the market, and we work tirelessly to maintain those standards.

Parental involvement

A meaningful relationship presupposes the perception that parents are actively involved in their children's school life.

Parental involvement is a primary concern for us, building a positive relationship between the child and the school is directly linked to the ability to develop and interweave a meaningful dialogue between the two central worlds of the child, the home. and the school.

Infants

Curiosity is the willingness to seek. Our little people have all their senses activated. They observe and feel. Interaction with the environment and objects contributes to their all-round development. The senses are necessary for rational thought to be able to perceive the external world.

Baby

The child plays and discovers. Through his coexistence with other little people in a space full of stimuli, he develops autonomy, coordination and concentration. Protagonist in improvising and co-creating actions.

From I to We. Group functioning leads to the promotion of solidarity and bonding moving from the transfer stage to early preschool. By expanding all the elements a child has we create a community where conditions allow opportunities for encouragement and free expression. Contact with everyday life is made through the utilization of materials and objects of daily use, we explore and discover. Their alternative use in conjunction with experimentation aims at experiential understanding of the real world. The transition from the ego to the we is made with terms of equality, solidarity and awareness. It is a milestone at the age of 3 and the initial step towards building a socially healthy, inclusive and equal world.

Democratic school:

The main goal of our kindergarten is the development of the democratic identity of all the people who participate in it.

The planning and organization of school life is a field of intervention and co-shaping of children and adults.

School-Community life:

School life is constituted, defined and redefined through democratic processes (votes, resolutions, plenary meetings, student conventions) in which every member of the school community has an equal role and participation.

The collectivization of school life helps children to develop their psychosocial skills, define and define themselves as members of groups.

Actions

Theater

playing with the moment

An expressive game created at that exact moment
that we play, with whatever material comes from the children. Theatrical action is not a goal and is not interested as a result.
The live relationship that emerges from the beginning is interesting, as a surprise for both the children and the animator.

Music

I move with a rhythm

With the sense of rhythm, the child is freed to more creative realizations. From receiving stimuli comes the reaction spontaneously and truly.
An experience so special for us that it reminds us that music is, above all, a way of life.

Play English

english through play

In PlayEnglish children are motivated to take part in different stories that are related to their lives such as taking care of a pet, ordering in a restaurant or inviting a friend to play.

Cuisine

we cook together

Children try new foods, smell, distinguish flavors. They develop hand-eye coordination and connect their senses. Cooking with children is one of the best and most creative experiences.

Play with loose parts

Consider how often little people enjoy bringing materials from one area to another and making connections. When kids are encouraged to integrate play materials in their own. Creative ways they are experiencing open ended learning loose parts create endless possibilities and invite creativity.

Play storytelling yoga

Little people participate in interactive stories through yoga. With breathing and relaxation practices, they play by exercising their bodies with yoga poses adapted to their age and each story. The aim is to improve their physical condition, balance and concentration.

Open type game

I play without a predetermined purpose, target result, there are no restrictions-rules-instructions. Children express their creativity freely. They actively engage with everyday objects easily and timely. Experimentation with new ideas is allowed and flows freely. Open-ended play is social and promotes problem-solving skills. 'We can change the way we see things around us'

Art

Active engagement with the visual arts offers a safety net through which children without the inhibition of exposure can express themselves in their entirety and give voice to their lived desires.

Nutritional Plan

Artemis Preschool provides complete and safe nutritional support to children, respecting their needs. Based on the latest legislation and the national nutritional guide, as well as the principles of the Mediterranean diet, the nutritional plan is drawn up by our pediatrician. The result is a wide variety of balanced meals with qualitative and quantitative sufficiency of nutrients and familiarizing children with new tastes. Meals are prepared daily by trained staff with fresh pure ingredients – fresh meats and seasonal vegetables.
